Misia Discotheque Asia Tour 2009

In some ways this was a set that designed itself.  When it was decided to place the stage in the center of the arena, and play 360˚ I don’t think anybody realized that the typical center point in Japanese venues would have such severe weight limitations.  This meant that in total we could only hang some very lightweight set pieces, the sound and a dozen moving lights over the stage.  The result, in spite, or even because of the restrictions was spectacular, with the important addition of lasers, most of the light system positioned on the deck, and an internally lit stage that became a veritable crystal palace.
